Actor Robert Wagner is coming clean about a closely kept secret that he has guarded for many years. He is hitting the talk show circuit to hype his autobiography, Pieces of My Heart, co-authored with Scott Eyman. His secret was an affair with a much older woman…Barbara Stanwyck.

The age difference between the two was 23 years and the affair took place when Robert was 22 and Barbara was 45. The affair went on for four years. Stanwyck has been portrayed over the years as anything but easy going.

Wagner revealed that she gave him “self-esteem” and he reports that Barbara was the one to end their affair because of hectic work schedules and of course the age difference.

In the book he alludes that he would have been known to the world as “Mr. Stanwyck” and that must not have been the image he was trying to build.

Another hot topic in his book is the drowning of his beautiful actress wife Natalie Wood and the toll that it took on him. This is the first time that the actor has spoken of the tragedy.

I am so sad. I was driving in my car and on the top of the hour news they announced the passing of Richard Wright. Wright was a founding member of Pink Floyd. True musical pioneers. He is best remembered for his keyboard work for Us and Them and the Great Gig in The Sky. He died of cancer at the age of 65 in his home in England. I'm definitely going to listen to see Pink Floyd and feel sad tonight.

Eric Carmen, the singer of the '80s pop hit "Hungry Eyes," was arrested Tuesday night in Orange, Ohio, for drunk driving, TMZ reported.

The singer reportedly slammed his car into a fire hydrant and handed cops a credit card when asked for his license. A half-empty bottle of Grey Goose vodka was found on the passenger’s seat, and Carmen's breathalyzer test was nearly three times the legal limit at .23, TMZ reported.

According to a police report, Carmen was released to his attorney on a personal bond and is scheduled to have a Sept. 16 court date. This is Carmen’s second DUI.

In a tell-all book, Spears' mother, Lynne, says her daughter lost her virginity to a high school football player when she was 14.

Lynne Spears, 53, also says Spears began drinking when she was a 13-year-old Mouseketeer and began experimenting with drugs at 15.

By age 16, Britney was caught with cocaine and marijuana on a private jet, Lynn Spears claims.

The book, "Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World," is set for release Sept. 16, but the U.K.'s Sun published excerpts on Thursday.

Lynne also says she regrets of losing control of Britney's career to handlers who promoted her as a sex object and put her in raunchy videos.

She admits she allowed her then 16-year-old daughter to sleep with Justin Timberlake, her Mickey Mouse Club co-star, and went along with the hoax that Britney was a virgin and saving herself for marriage.

In 2003, Timberlake told reporters, "She lost her virginity a while ago — and I should know." He also told Barbara Walters that he gave Britney her first kiss.

Don LaFontaine, the voiceover king whose "In a world ..." phrase on movie trailers was much copied -- and much parodied -- has died, according to media reports. He was 68.

Don LaFontaine was featured as "that voiceover guy" on a recent Geico commercial.

LaFontaine died Monday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, according to ETOnline, "Entertainment Tonight's" Web site. He died from complications from pneumothorax, a collapsed lung that causes air to build in the pleural cavity, his agent, Vanessa Gilbert, told "ET."

LaFontaine, who was born in Duluth, Minnesota, began as a voice actor in the mid-1960s while working as a recording engineer, according to his Web site. His strong, slightly gravelly voice was featured on trailers for thousands of films, including "The Godfather," "Fatal Attraction" and "Terminator 2: Judgment Day."

Steve Warshak, founder of the company responsible for "Enzyte," has been sentenced to 25 years in prison and ordered to pay a fine of $93,000, says the AP. U.S. District Judge S. Arthur Spiegel also ordered the company, along with other defendants, to forfeit more than $500 million that it bilked from consumers.

According to federal prosecutors the scam involved preying on customer's reluctance to admit that they had ordered the "male enhancement" pills. Customers ordered the pills, but were unable to cancel or get a refund. A former VP of the company testified that Warshak required customers to provide notarized documents from a doctor proving that they had small genitals in order to get a refund.

Rock legends Led Zeppelin have reportedly been working on new material.

Three members of the band - drummer Jason Bonham, guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones - have been meeting up for sessions in a London studio, reports The Sun.

The paper says frontman Robert Plant, currently touring the States, hasn't joined his bandmates so far.

Jason is quoted as saying: "I've been working with Jimmy and John Paul and trying to do some new material and some writing.

"I don't know what it will be, but it will be something."

The news is sure to fuel rumours that a full Led Zeppelin reunion is in the pipeline, which started when the group played in London last year.

Jason went on: "The possibility of doing something is on the cards. I really felt it was on the cards from the moment we walked off stage at the O2.

"At the moment, all I know is I have the great pleasure to go and jam with the two guys and start work on some material."

Led Zeppelin formed in the 60s and are known for albums like In Through The Out Door and Physical Graffiti.

Hamburg - Archaeologists believe they have found the Queen of Sheba's palace at Axum, Ethiopia and an altar which held the most precious treasure of ancient Judaism, the Ark of the Covenant, the University of Hamburg said Wednesday. Scientists from the German city made the startling find during their spring excavation of the site over the past three months.

The Ethiopian queen was the bride of King Solomon of Israel in the 10th century before the Christian era. The royal match is among the memorable events in the Bible.

Ethiopian tradition claims the Ark, which allegedly contained Moses' stone tablets on which the Ten Commandments were written, was smuggled to Ethiopia by their son Menelek and is still in that country.

The University said scientists led by Helmut Ziegert had found remains of a 10th-century-BC palace at Axum-Dungur under the palace of a later Christian king. There was evidence the early palace had been torn down and realigned to the path of the star Sirius.

The team hypothesized that Menelek had changed religion and become a worshipper of Sirius while keeping the Ark, described in the Bible as an acacia-wood chest covered with gold. Remains of sacrifices of bullocks were evident around the altar.

The research at Axum, which began in 1999, is aimed at documenting the origins of the Ethiopian state and the Ethiopian Orthodox Church.

"The results we have suggest that a Cult of Sothis developed in Ethiopia with the arrival of Judaism and the Ark of the Covenant and continued until 600 AD," the announcement said. Sothis is the ancient Greek name for a star thought to be Sirius.

The team said evidence for this included Sirius symbols at the site, the debris of sacrifices and the alignment of sacred buildings to the rising-point of Sirius, the brightest star in the sky.

August 26, 2008. MediaTakeOut.com is sad to report to you that Andre Young Jr., the son to legendary rapper/producer Dr. Dre, has died. The 20 year old young man was found dead at his home in Woodland Hills on Saturday morning.

According to reports, Young returned home from a night of partying around 5:30 A.M.. And when his mother went to check on him around 10 A.M., she found him deceased.

The cause of death is still unknown, but police do not suspect any form of foul play.

Latest: Comedian Andy Dick will face a series of misdemeanour charges after escaping prosecution on counts of sexual battery following his arrest last month.

The 42-year-old comedian posted $5,000 (GBP2,703) bail following his arrest in Murieta, California, on 16 July on suspicion of drug possession and sexual battery.

Onlookers reported he had walked up to a 17-year-old female outside a restaurant and "grabbed her tank top and bra and pulled them down and exposed her breasts".

Cops stopped Dick and friends at a nearby discount grocery store after they had driven away from the establishment in a truck.

Officers who found marijuana and Xanax in Dick's pockets during a curbside search added the star was "extremely intoxicated".

A spokesperson from the District Attorney's office says: "We found that his actions were more in line with an assault than a sexual battery. It didn't appear to be an overt sexual act."

Dick faces four misdemeanour counts stemming from the incident.

He is scheduled for arraignment next week (beg01Sep08) for battery, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, public intoxication and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

A DeKalb county judge sentenced Da Brat to 3 years behind bars. This sentence stems from an event that transpired at an Atlanta nightclub. Da Brat hit a former cheerleader in the face with a rum bottle. The woman suffered serious injuries and has been scarred for life. Michael Phelps must be the illegitimate love child of Aquaman. I saw his mom interviewed by Billy Bush and she looked pretty shifty to me. The stories she could tell. This man is a machine and I love it He consumes 12,000 calories a day. He makes me feel anorexic!! With the help of his team mates in the 4×100 meter medley relay, Michael secured his eighth medal. Team USA won in a world record time of 3 minutes 29.34 seconds. Australia took the silver and finished in 3:30.04 and Japan took bronze in 3:31.18. This man is amazing.

Wow...I had no idea this was going on. In April of 2006, Lisa Raye married Michael Missick the Premier of the Turk and Caicos Islands. In April 2008 hubby was accused of raping an American woman, reportedly a friend of Raye, at a party at the Mansion. Raye and her husband are now separated but something went down on Aug 13. She says she went to pick up some things and it ended with the two of them biting and scratching (and not in a sexy good time sort of way). Now the Premier supporters are accusing Raye of being an elitist and not "integrating" into their culture. I'm going to keep an eye on this. I think these biddies may just be jealous.

Here's a celeb tip from a non celeb blogger. If a tabloid has the goods on you then don't Diss them in public and call them trash. It only emboldens them and causes them to hunt you down like the dog you are. Take for example Cocaine Kate Moss. She successfully sued the Mirror but they never forgot. Later they went on to publish pictures of Kate snorting cocaine. Do we sense a pattern here? Now for the subject of this post John Edwards. He just had to talk smack about them didn't he? The arrogance of this man. He knew they had the goods on him. Did he really think they would just give up on the story especially after he called them tabloid trash to the whole country. One thing that may have led to his arrogance was the belief the media would cover for him. A little birdie informed a National Radio Talk Show Host during the primary season that the LA times was sitting on a story regarding a major Presidential candidate and adultery. I think it's obvious now who the rumor was about. Shame on the LA Times if this is true. Cindy Adams at the NY Post says this is just the beginning. It ain't over yet chickies. They pretty much say that Edwards is STILL lying and that the child is his. They state that they have videos and pictures that will prove this conclusively. Sounds like Johnny boy was bagged and tagged by a HUNTER. Big dummy. Too bad the dead children he likes to channel didn't warn him about this. And no I don't have him confused for the other medium. John Edwards used in his closing statement the words of a dead child. Another interesting and ghoulish tidbit about the other woman. She's pretty much waiting for Elizabeth to kick the bucket so she can be the new John Edwards. The Enquirer says they will stay on this story forever.

No this isn't a post about Paris Hilton and those boats that she calls feet. It's about the so called Bigfoot that has been found in Georgia by two guys. Well here's the TV, Movies, and all things Pop low down.

Matthew Whitten and Rick Dwyer are the men saying they stumbled across the hairy beast whilst hiking. Since then the pair have gone public (IN A BIG WAY). They even have a publicist...oh yeah turns out that publicist had already been busted for another false claim. Hey I'm sure that doesn't mean a thing. Today the duo had a live press conference and addressed the rumors of this being an elaborate...ok maybe not elaborate ...a hoax. Turns out the two had gone on youtube and made comments about it being a hoax. Initially they denied that the video had even been made. DUMMY ALERT. They then came back and said the video existed but they were just joshing and kidding. Giving some raw meat to the people who were stalking them. Who knew the Big Foot population has their own Men in Black division. Anyhoax...oops I mean anyway...the press conference sounds like it was a hoot. It had 100 reporters (hmmmm...you know Georgia has been invaded...we have a election coming up....inflation is up...but that's ok...you go track down that Bigfoot story. What Obama may have a forged Birth Certificate...never you mind that we've got some cryptozoologing to do) and one even dressed up in a Gorilla suit shouting question.
